Lasius Sethi Fri May 04, 2012 11:08 pm- Gods Create the World, and fill it with Life.
- Humanity is created as the gods caretakers of the world, leaving them free of responsibilities.
- The God of Darkness; noting the fundamental flaw in humanity beseeches his brothers and sisters to either remake them or make a different race, as he is convinced that human nature will drive humanity to destroy the world they were created to preserve. The other gods scoff at his theory, and deny him.
- Outraged at his brethren the God of Darkness creates hordes of creatures to populate the world each one aimed at the destruction of humanity through different means.
- The ensuing massacre shocks the gods into reaction and they create the Sethi, elemental creatures who though vastly powerful are designed to look nearly human in nature, deceiving the God of Darkness' minions into hunting them as well. The First generation of Sethi are extremely successful in combat against the Dark Gods creations.
- Time passes and the Sethi produce a second generation, who being less devoted to the Gods stray from their purpose of protection of humanity and begin to pursue their own interests.
- Lasius Sethi (Lightning second Gen) Learns of the gods intention to eliminate the Sethi once the Dark Gods creations are under complete control. After discussing several options with friends and other members of his generation, he decides to steal the Gods Arcs and use them in the creation of a great Barrier that keeps the Gods from entering our world. This plan is successful but the Arcs disintegrate during the creation of the Barrier and it is believed that they are destroyed as a result of the amount of power used to create the Barrier. The World is now Godless and the First Generation of Sethi still loyal to gods they can no longer reach denounce the Second Generation and all younger Generations of Sethi as heretics, causing a fragmentation of Sethia society.
- Enough time passes for several more Sethian Generations to be born

- Malkate, an Archmage of Humanity Awakens with a strange sensation. (of course this is the pocket of compulsion and enforced memories given to her from the future by Lasius' Mother Serran a dream Sethi.) She is compelled with an overwhelming need to seek out the Sethi and Find someone among them influential enough to unite their people and turn them back to their duties of protecting Humanity.
- Enter a series of scenes where Malkate seeks out Lasius learning of his role in erecting the barrier and believing him to be the best choice for a uniting leader of the Sethi. During this time we can show some of the Dark gods creations and the way they are ravaging Human settlements and how hard pressed the Humans are to defend themselves.
- Lasius and Malkate begin to unite the Sethi in an attempt to build the First Sethian Empire. They are marginally successful in the north, and begin to win back some of the respect of their First Generation because of their goal to form the empire in an attempt to protect humanity which is after all the gods original purpose for the Sethi.
- Just as Lasius gains a secure foothold in Sethi Assassins Murder his father and severely wound his mother. The Assassins are suspiciously reminiscent of Shadow Sethian Assassins. Outraged and suspicious Lasius travels to Cyrida to speak with his friend Daegan and find out if there are any grounds to his suspicion of Shadow Sethi Assassins. When he Arrives in Cyrida he finds legions of Sethi from the southern regions mobilizing for war. Unaware of a similar assassination to Daegan's family and feeling betrayed Lasius lashes out and strikes at Daegan's troops and family destroying parts of the city in a rage before retreating to Sethia and mobilizing for war.
- Lasius' attacks on Daegan's city delay him just enough for Lasius to get his legions onto the battle field, however Lasius is outnumbered and after a few battles things are going poorly. We will illustrate some of the battles for action purposes, and also to serve as a scale point for after Sitherack invades to show how relatively insignificant these battles were to the all out war Sitherack plunges the nation into.
- Daegan wins a critical battle in the plains of Maerdo and this sparks Aleyna's scene and the revelation of Sitherack to the reader. There is a lot of foreshadowing here, that scene will be expanded, Aleyna will learn of the assassins there, and learn that Sitherack engineered the assassinations of both Daegan and Lasius' family members. Lasius sends peace envoys to Daegan to discuss Aleyna's new information, but Daegan kills them and launches an attack.
- Lasius and Daegan engage in an epic battle on the Plains of Maerdo, Lasius is losing due to being surrounded, when a new force of Sethi begin attacking both Armies. All these Sethi bear Dracoliches. Alyena tries to assassinate Lasius and he finds out from her as she dies that She had given him just enough information to stall leading him to believe it would take Sitherack Longer than it did to cross the wall between worlds. As their forces are struggling against the Dracolich Sethi both Daegan and Lasius receive word that Cyrida and Sethia have fallen and are now controlled by Sitherack.
- Finally receptive and enraged, Daegan ceases his assault on Lasius and joins forces with him and Malkate. Their combined army marches on Sethia, because the Dracolich Sethi have cut off retreat for Daegan to Cyrida.
- A Major battle ensues and Lasius and Daegan retake Sethia. From the Decimated the city they regroup their forces and decide it's impossible to lay siege to Cyrida. Their forces are wounded, exhausted and hopelessly outnumbered. So Lasius Daegan and Malkate go to Cyrida alone, sneak into the city and confront Sitherack in a fight that is the climax of the novel.
- Sitherack is defeated and his hold on the Dracolich Sethi is broken. They become another class in Sethian society, and the rebuilding process begins the First Sethian Empire is formed and Lasius is recognized as Lord General. Sethia is appointed as the capital, Cyrida is rebuilt and Tre Betal and other cities are beginning to be built. The Sethian Empire and Humanity (whose kingdom and structure we still need to establish) become allies and Malkate has completed the first of her major tasks at saving the world from elemental failure.
- Cut to Sitherack wandering some desolate wasteland; being drawn to and eventually finding the Arc of Darkness.
